SUMMARY:Grief Training for Professionals
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce our first grief training for professionals who work with adults or children. The CEU credits are available to social workers. \n\nParticipants will learn the basics of grief and the grief journey\, and explore how to interact with grieving individuals in an effective manner.\nAn overview of grief will be discussed as well as common cognitive\, physical\, and emotional symptoms of grief.\nParticipants will learn why the experience of grief is unique for each individual and situation.\nHelpful practices for working with grieving individuals will be presented.\n\nThis training event will be at the COJ office. Spots limited.
