It’s hot out…let’s talk about how water can help our outlook! Water can help us to care for ourselves in a myriad of ways. For starters, drinking enough water and taking showers regularly are two basic but key ways that you can care for yourself. On a hot day, cooling off in a pool, a lake, or even a sprinkler can feel great. If you have a local body of water near you, you may be able to rent kayaks or a small boat; being on the water in a boat can feel extremely peaceful. When it’s raining outside, consider sitting on a porch or in a covered area and enjoying the sound of the rain. Or bust out your umbrella and take a stroll in the rain! And when you need to relax and unwind, spend some time in a bubble bath – add a yummy beverage, your favorite scented candle, and some calming music for bonus points.
